ART IS FOR HEALING : SHADOWS & LIGHT

This event invited us to befriend our shadows with compassion, discovering them as portals to deeper self-awareness, healing, and empowerment. We illuminated the spaces within, not to banish the dark, but to integrate and celebrate the beauty of our complexity—as individuals and as a collective.


Art is for Healing showcases creators' intimate relationships with heartbreak, colonial violence, mystical dimensions, identity formation, tenderness, and queerhood. With research and studies of sexology, cosmology, psychology and ancient techniques — they transform their inner workings and emotional depths of joy, grief, death, and rebirth through art-making.
